| Letter from the Editor,
Dear Readers:
As you know, a few months ago the world witnessed a great war, waged by the west against Iraq in an attempt to free the Iraqi people from their tyrant of over 25 years.
This war was initially started because Iraq failed to destroy its weapons of mass destruction, weapons that to this date have not turned up despite a desperate search by the allied coalition.
Regardless, Baghdad was captured and the oppressed people of Baghdad raided the streets in celebration, looting museums and other cultural and historical sites, taking all they could for the betterment of their immediate living situations. In doing so, they may have destroyed some of the most wonderful traces of their rich civilization which may never be recovered again.
I hope that you all share my prayer for world peace and a better chapter in our world.
